Compton Castle

Built in the 14th and 15th Centuries, this National Trust Property is, in fact, a fortified medieval manor house, surrounded by high curtain walls, towers and a portcullis. Set against a stunning backdrop of countryside, this wonderful attraction transports you back in time with all the sights, sounds and smells of the medieval era in both the castle and its medieval-style gardens.
