Peasholm Park is a beautiful outdoor space that all ages will enjoy. Walk around and enjoy the colourful flowers, or hire a boat for an hour on the lake. Free music concerts can regularly be enjoyed at the Band Stand and during the summer season there are cafés serving sandwiches, snacks, light meals and ice creams.
Stephen Joseph Theatre
Scarborough's Stephen Joseph Theatre hosts an exciting calendar of events and performances throughout the year, including famous plays and live music. There are also film screenings, with the latest movies and well-known classics being shown.
North Bay Railway
Scarborough's North Bay Railway has been operating since 1931. Visitors travel on the miniature railway for approximately 0.75 miles, along a track near Peasholm Park. On-site there is also a historic water chute ride, a sky trail adventure course and The Boatman's Tavern – the smallest real ale pub in Yorkshire.
Victorian Funicular Lift
Anyone with a head for heights will enjoy a trip on the Victorian Funicular Lift which climbs Scarborough's steep cliffs each day during the summer and offers magnificent views of the South Bay.
