Powderham is a large castle set in beautiful rural grounds near Exmouth, with plenty to see and do for the whole family. Not only can guests enjoy guided tours of the castle itself but there is a play area, pet corner featuring pigs, goats, sheep and more, an attractive nursery and a deer safari trail. Visitors can also enjoy the on-site gift shop and Courtenay Café.
A La Ronde
A truly unique attraction, A La Ronde is a 16-sided house that was built in the 18th century that now houses numerous displays including a collection of nearly 25,000 shells and a feather frieze. However the building itself, and the intriguing design, is the most interesting reason to visit.

The World of Country Life could almost be called a zoo of the countryside: it features a number of animal enclosures with donkeys, ducks, ponies and more, as well as plenty of exciting play areas such as the giant pirate ship, the vintage soft play and the deer train safari. Farmer Lee's Food Barn supplies the much-needed refreshments.
