Paignton Zoo is a comprehensive venue with thousands of animals to see including species from all over the world. Guests can ride the Jungle Express miniature train and experience a nature trail, whilst younger visitors have indoor and outdoor play areas to enjoy. Built in the 14th and 15th Centuries, Compton Castle remains home to the Gilbert family and is a National Trust property. It's a dramatic castle featuring towers and a portcullis, with guests welcome to enjoy exploring features such as the medieval kitchen and the great hall.
