We booked this all inclusive break last minute - our aim is to try and get away once a month to survive the winter months and after this short break we will certainly be looking to go again. It was fantastic value for money and the staff were brilliant.

Watermouth Family Theme Park & Castle
This large Victorian castle is home to a fun family theme park with a number of exciting attractions including antique rides, a dungeon labyrinth and a water show, as well as a miniature Gnome Land village and Camera Obscura attractions. There are various eateries too, ensuring that a full family day out can be enjoyed.


Landmark Theatre
One of the most modern theatres in the region, the Landmark plays host to live stage productions alongside stand-up comedy and music from the modern and classical eras. There is also a cinema screen, featuring art-house films and live screenings of Shakespeare productions by the RSC.

Chambercombe Manor
Enjoy guided tours of this fascinating property, mentioned in the Doomsday Book, or book yourself onto one of the paranormal evenings regularly held at the venue. Many of the original 11th century features still remain intact, and guests can now enjoy the on-site tea rooms and gift shop during their visit.

Ilfracombe Museum
Ilfracombe Museum is overflowing with curiosities and memorabilia, this historic building houses unimaginable finds from a shrunken head to pickled bats. First opened in August 1932, the original curator was Mervyn G Palmer who started it all following his explorations in South America collecting butterflies for the British Museum.

The welcoming Dilkhusa Grand Hotel is situated on Ilfracombe’s level seafront and overlooks the picturesque Runnymede Gardens and Landmark Theatre. Close to all of the town’s attractions and amenities, it’s an excellent choice for a stay in North Devon. Inside the hotel, you will find an extremely friendly and sociable atmosphere offering a well-appointed restaurant, comfortable lounges and public areas and a spacious and comfortable entertainment suite in which to enjoy great acts. Ilfracombe is an extremely popular resort centred around a pretty 10th century harbour where local fisherman still ply their trade. The Dilkhusa Grand is a short, level walk from Damien Hirst’s famous statue ‘Verity’ - which now attracts huge numbers of visitors to the bustling harbour area. Here you can enjoy a variety of shops and eateries as well as booking sightseeing and fishing tours and boat trips to Lundy Island, a unique marine reserve in the mouth of the Bristol Channel. The Landmark Theatre is a key cultural beacon for North Devon, attracting many national acts and organising many events and festivals throughout the year. Around Ilfracombe, the stunning western beaches of Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton are some of the best in the country. Eastwards lies the craggy Bristol Channel coast with wonderful scenic walks, pretty villages to discover and the delights of Exmoor all waiting for you!
