Ben Nevis
The tallest mountain in Great Britain, Ben Nevis is a popular attraction for serious climbers as well as those who want to enjoy a scenic walk around the base. For those less interested in energetic activities, the Ben Nevis distillery at the base of the mountain is a great place to enjoy a dram and to learn more about the whisky traditions of Scotland.

Jacobite Steam Train
This iconic steam train gives visitors the chance to enjoy a wonderful route from Fort William to Mallaig with more than 40 miles of incredible scenery as you pass over hills and viaducts. It's one train journey that may particularly excite children, as the trains and route were used in the Harry Potter series of films as the famous Hogwarts Express.

West Highland Museum
Situated on the High Street in the heart of the town, the museum tells the story of the region and its history and includes a fascinating collection relating to Bonnie Prince Charlie and the Jacobite cause.

Ben Nevis Distillery
Ben Nevis Distillery is one of the oldest licensed distilleries in Scotland. The distillery is nestled at the foot of Britain's highest mountain, Ben Nevis.

Urquhart Castle
The magnificently situated Urquhart Castle, on the banks of Loch Ness, remains an impressive stronghold despite its ruinous state.
