Great seven night holiday, lovely room with a sea view, comfortable beds, excellent housekeeping, much better than we experienced recently in a Yorkshire hotel (not Shearings). Hotel was clean and mostly freshly painted and updated and the food was plentiful and varied.

If you’re looking to keep costs down, or you’re planning to be out and about for a majority of the day, then why not select a basic Standard Room? Eastbourne Pier –
A classic English pier, Eastbourne Pier features a charming Victorian boardwalk alongside classic seaside attractions including a video game arcade. There’s a bar area with outdoor seating, and the Camera Obscura attraction lets you enjoy fantastic views of the seafront area.

Carpet Gardens –
Stroll along the promenade and you’ll encounter the Carpet Gardens, a beautifully-maintained centrepiece featuring flowers and plants from across the world including Mexico, New Zealand and the Mediterranean. The artistic displays change throughout the year, with cacti and fountains increasing the appeal of the gardens.

A modern building that can seat over 1,600, the Congress Theatre is Eastbourne’s primary live entertainment venue. Featuring an on-site bar, the theatre plays host to numerous popular musicals and live concerts throughout the calendar year.
