Eastbourne railway station is approximately 1 and a half miles from the hotel. There is a taxi rank at the station. (Rail enquiries to 08457 484950).

National Express:

  • Beachy Head
    Beachy Head is the most famous part of the Eastbourne Downland. Beachy Head rises 162 metres (530 feet) above the sea below and is the highest chalk sea cliff in Britain. The main reason for Beachy Head's popularity is the wonderful panoramic view which can be seen from the cliff top. If you look east you see the beaches and town of Eastbourne, the Pier and the Harbour, and then on to Pevensey Bay and Hastings and, on an exceptionally clear day, Dungeness in Kent, nearly 40 miles away.

  • Bentley Motor Museum
    Something for everyone with one of the largest waterfowl collections including Swans, Geese, Ducks, Cranes and Flamingoes in a natural setting. The Motor Museum has over 100 exhibits including Veteran, Edwardian, Vintage and Classic cars and bikes. The Gardens are a reflection of the house with a series of rooms divided by yew hedges. Superb Break

Friendly, helpful staff, nicely coordinated, comfortable room with a superb sea view, good food, choices and services. Occasionally my first choice was unavailable due to its popularity. Some of the interior walls could do with some smartening up but on the whole, the hotel is of a good standard.

Well Pleased

We read a lot of negative reviews regarding hotel but for us personally. We had a great break. Hotel very clean, food couldn't be faulted and to us the free bar was an added bonus. We found the staff very helpful and polite and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. I can only say we have stayed at more expensive hotels and haven't been treated half as well. Grant you hotel a little old fashioned but we found it charming and cosy.
