Our Holiday
Our holiday was great! I enjoyed every moment, I didn’t want to leave. All reception staff and all the other staff were wonderful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The Dining Room staff were great. Good choice of food, they never came out cold or warm. Well done! The entertainment was brilliant!

Lovely Holiday
Just returned from a lovely holiday, food was good. I had a single room, I thought it was a bit shabby, small and the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. I met some very nice people at the hotel, the tours were very interesting. Very good weather. St Ives, beautiful, peaceful place, with a nice small sandy beach. Overall I enjoyed the holiday, especially the tours, I would recommend.

Lovely Weekend
Having read some of the comments people have written, I’m thinking they want 5 star hotels at bargain prices. This hotel was great for our break, the rooms were spotless and the radiators were piping hot. Our shower rooms looked like they had been recently retiled and new shower units installed. The hotel has beautiful upgraded rooms at extra cost with flat screen TVs and lovely fittings if you want them. We booked 3 single rooms all with sea views, 2 had balconies, the views were stunning. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and our waiting staff were fast and efficient, with food served on hot plates and vegetables served separately so you could help yourself. We had 3 choices of starter, 4-5 choices of main meal and 3 choices of sweet or cheese and biscuits with coffee or tea. If people are not happy with the choices, perhaps they should try in St. Ives for an evening meal. I’m sure they will be willing to pay £20 each for a restaurant there. Our driver was the best and made our stay very good with a trip to Falmouth. We opted for a boat trip, blooming freezing but great views of the River Fal. Then, we went the next day to Land’s End, St. Michael’s Mount and Penzance. Thank you for a fabulous trip and a safe journey home.

Lovely Hotel
We have just returned from a week-end break. This is our third visit to this lovely hotel. We always book a sea view room, which was extremely clean and comfortable. We had a table for two in the dining room. The food was excellent and the waiters very attentive. We will definitely go back to this hotel.

5 Days in St Ives
I enjoyed a 5 day Monday to Friday stay at the St Ives Bay hotel. A very friendly and well run hotel. We had a back facing room which was adequate, clean and tidy, the step in to the shower was about a foot high, would make it hard for anyone with a disability. The meals were good and varied, the biggest salad I have ever had, with too much meat but very enjoyable. Afternoon tea and free bar in the evening. The entertainment is hit and miss.

Great Hotel in St Ives, Cornwall
Lovely hotel, staff friendly, helpful and wanting to please. We had double front room overlooking Portminster Beach and sea. The hotel areas are very clean, great food with multi-choice selection, restaurant service very efficient, entertainment some evenings. Ideally suited for self drive as well as coach travellers, hotel has parking. Lots to do in St Ives and surrounding areas. Our stay was very enjoyable, will come again.

Weekend Break
I took my youngest of 9 and 6 (we had his birthday there). Couldn’t have asked for a better place. Was apprehensive with such young children, but it was wonderful. We had the family room, very spacious, clean and more than enough storage. Very accommodating with the food, as the children didn’t want the full courses offered. Manager was only too happy to help the lad’s and they chose more suitable food to eat. The hotel was fantastically placed, only a two minute walk from the beach. Faultless, would definitely return.
