Hotel information

Torquay is the wonderful capital of the English Riviera and The Torbay Hotel is located right at the heart of it, opposite the stylish marina. The hotel has grand features enhanced by warm surroundings and includes many front-facing rooms - the Premier and Superior Rooms are particularly desirable. Guests can enjoy a drink or tasty snack in comfortable surroundings thanks to a bright new café and elegant lounge and there is a large ballroom, two bars, an indoor heated swimming pool and a sun terrace.

Torquay is famous for its attractions and the hotel is right by the town centre’s shops, boutiques and restaurants. Right next to the hotel are the restored Torbay Royal Terrace Gardens,which make for the perfect evening stroll and offer spectacular views across the bay.

The Torbay Hotel has a limited amount of car parking spaces available in a secure car park a short distance from the hotel, these can be reserved at 5.00 per day.  On arrival pull up in the loading bay (parking in the yellow bus bays is an offence) to unload your luggage, and collect your parking pass if purchased. We recommend that one person stays with the car. There is also a public car park nearby, charges apply

How to get there


By Car:


From the A380 take the A3022 and follow signs for Torquay and then to the Sea Front. Turn left onto the sea front until reaching the hotel, on the left hand side, opposite the Princess Gardens and about 100 yards past the Princess Theatre on the right hand side. (AA Roadwatch 09003 401100).
