St Ives has long been something of a mecca for painters and artists, brought here by the turquoise ocean and wonderful natural light. Situated in an elevated position overlooking Porthminster Beach, the St Ives Bay Hotel commands stunning, panoramic views.
With open plan lounges to enjoy the views whilst listening to the evening’s entertainment, a break here is truly relaxing. A courtyard is open during spring and summer for those wishing to relax al fresco. St Ives is renowned for its fantastic beaches, picturesque harbour and bustling streets full of interesting boutique shops.
The St Ives Bay Hotel is in a perfect location only a short walk to the centre and also makes a wonderful base for exploring further afield to visit many of Cornwall’s finest sights and attractions.

How to get there
By Car:
Follow the A30 to Cornwall as far as Erth Roundabout. Turn right onto the A3074, following signs for St Ives, through Lelant and Carbis Bay. On approaching St Ives, the road forks. Take the right fork onto The Terrace. The hotel is 50 yards away on the left hand side. (AA Roadwatch 09003 401100).

By Train:
St Ives station is 200 yards below the hotel (reached by a flight of steps) and is served by trains from Penzance, via St Erth. (Rail enquiries to 08457 484950).

By Bus:
First Bus numbers 16 and 17 operate between Penzance and St Ives bus station.

Land’s End is one of Britain’s best loved landmarks, famous for its unique location and beautiful scenery. A visit to this, the most south westerly point of mainland Britain, will provide you with a fantastic day out. Entrance to Land’s End is free, you only pay to park your car. Walk around the site and enjoy the natural splendour; stand on the First and Last Point and take in the spectacular views; visit the historic buildings of the First and Last House and Penwith House; or wander around the West Country Shopping Village. In addition to this you can experience great value family entertainment by purchasing tickets for our five fantastic attractions which include a 4D Film Experience. Any visit to Land’s End would not be complete without a photograph at the famous Signpost.

Located in the far west of Cornwall, on the Atlantic coast, Geevor Tin Mine is a fabulous exhibit of Cornish mining history. A fully working mine until 1990, Geevor Tin Mine is now the largest preserved mining site and museum in the UK. This large site includes various buildings and underground-guided tours, which detail the fascinating process of extraction through the 18th and 19th centuries. Geevor also has a wonderful museum, which tells the story of mining in Cornwall over the years and what life was like for those who earned their living underground!
